Pre-requisite: Intro to K9 Nose Work

This class is for dogs who have completed Intro to K9 Nose Work® and are ready to begin working with target odors. Teams will be introduced to Birch, Anise, and Clove using food pairing to build a strong, positive association with odor.

Dogs continue to develop their independent problem-solving skills as searches gradually increase in complexity across containers, interior spaces, and exterior environments. Handlers begin using external rewards and continue developing their observation and leash-handling skills to better support their dogs. This class sets the stage for balanced teamwork while maintaining the dog’s developing focus and drive for odor.
